What you get

Inside API Integration and Workflow Automation

Get in touch
  1. Map the workflow as it really runs

The actual sequence, including the export somebody does every Friday and the approval that happens over WhatsApp. That is the thing we automate.

  2. Pick the right tool for each step

n8n or Make where a visual flow is enough and your team should be able to edit it, custom code where volume, reliability or data shape demands it.

  3. Connect the systems

HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, Razorpay, Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Workspace, Slack and the API nobody has documented.

  4. Build it to fail safely

Retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues and an alert when something needs a human, so an outage upstream does not become duplicate invoices downstream.

  5. Hand it over documented

A diagram of every flow, what triggers it, what it touches and who to call. Automation you cannot read is a liability.

The service

Automations we build a lot of

Almost every one started as a spreadsheet someone maintained by hand.

Lead routing

Form or ad lead in, enriched, deduplicated, assigned in the CRM, owner notified, first email sent. Under a minute, every time.

Order to accounting

Orders from the store or marketplace into Xero, QuickBooks or Tally with tax handled, refunds reversed, and reconciliation that matches.

Inventory and catalogue sync

Stock, prices and product data kept consistent between the ERP, the store and the marketplaces, in both directions.

Customer lifecycle

Sign-ups, renewals, failed payments and churn signals turned into the right email, task or Slack message at the right time.

Reporting

Numbers pulled from six systems into one sheet or dashboard every morning, so nobody assembles the Monday report by hand.

Approvals and internal ops

Leave requests, purchase approvals, onboarding checklists and document generation, routed through the tools people already use.

Why CodeTrappers

Why teams bring automation to an engineering firm

The tools are easy to start with. The failure modes are not.

We write code when the tool runs out

A custom node, a small service or a queue worker, when a visual flow would be fragile or slow. Fifteen engineers means that is never a blocker.

Security by default

OAuth, scoped API keys, secrets kept out of the flow, and an audit of what each integration can read and write.

Ready for agents

The same connections become tools an AI agent can use safely. Our MCP and agent work is built on integrations like these.

Tools we work in

n8n

Self-hosted or cloud, our default for teams that want to own their automations and keep data in their own region.

Make and Zapier

For quick wins and non-technical ownership, with the limits explained before you hit them.

Custom services

Node or PHP workers, webhooks, queues and scheduled jobs, deployed on your infrastructure or ours.

Questions

What people ask before they start

Something not covered here? Ask us directly and an engineer will answer.

Ask a question

No. Many automation projects never touch a website. If you do run WordPress or WooCommerce we know its APIs and hooks well, but the CRM, accounting and email connections are the same either way.

It depends on volume, who will maintain it and where the data may live. n8n when you want to self-host and own it, Make or Zapier for quick wins a non-technical team can edit, custom code when volume or reliability demands it. We tell you which before quoting.

It retries, and if that fails it alerts a human with the failed record attached rather than silently dropping it. Flows are built to be re-run safely, so recovery is pressing a button, not reconstructing data.

A fixed price per workflow, agreed after we have mapped it with you. The flows, code and accounts are yours and documented well enough for another developer to pick up. Ongoing monitoring and changes are a monthly retainer if you want them.
