Find the AI work worth doing, then actually ship it

Most enterprise AI programmes stall between the workshop and the first working thing. We run the discovery, write a roadmap you can defend to a board, build the first use case narrow enough to prove or kill it, and train the people who have to live with it afterwards.

  • 300+ migrations, zero data loss
  • Core Web Vitals in the green
  • 24/7 emergency cover

  1. Find where the money actually is

A discovery workshop with the people who do the work, not only the people who sponsor it. What takes hours, what gets re-keyed between systems, what nobody has time to check. That list is where the value sits, and it rarely matches the list the executive team arrives with.

  2. Check the data before promising anything

Most programmes fail on access rather than on models: information spread across systems that do not talk, with no interface anything could safely use. We establish that early, because it changes the plan and the budget more than any model choice will.

  3. Write a roadmap somebody can defend

Each candidate ranked by value against effort, with an estimate, a payback and an honest note on what could go wrong. Including the ones we recommend not doing, which is usually the section that gets quoted back to us.

  4. Build the first one narrow

One use case, real data, a fixed scope, measured against how the job is done today. If it does not beat that, it does not get rolled out, and we will say so rather than expand the pilot until it looks successful.

  5. Hand it over properly

Documentation, an audit trail, and training for the people who use it and the people who maintain it. A system only your supplier understands is a dependency you did not agree to buy.

The service

What an engagement includes

Use-case discovery workshops

Structured sessions with each team, producing a written list of candidates with the current cost of each one attached.

Readiness and data assessment

What is connected to what, which systems can be queried today, which need work first, and what that work involves.

An adoption roadmap

Sequenced, costed and ranked, with the dependencies named and the build-or-buy call made for each item.

Implementation

We build what the roadmap chose: agents, retrieval and company knowledge assistants, MCP servers, document processing, and integration into WordPress, WooCommerce, your CRM or your ERP.

Employee training

Practical sessions for the teams who will use it, and a deeper handover for whoever maintains it. Written material they keep, not a recorded call nobody reopens.

Monthly advisory and support

A retainer covering the systems we built, the questions that come up afterwards, and a regular look at what has changed and what is now worth automating.

Why CodeTrappers

What we tell enterprises that a slide deck will not

Three things decide whether a programme like this works, and none of them are the model you pick.

Much of it is not AI

A large share of what gets asked for is a scheduled query nobody has time to run. That is cheaper, faster and more reliable built without a model, and we will point it out rather than sell you the more expensive version.

Access is the bottleneck, not intelligence

The hard part is giving software safe, permissioned access to systems that were never designed to be read by anything but a person. That is engineering, and it is where the schedule really goes.

Read-only earns the trust that write access needs

Programmes that start by letting an agent change things produce something nobody dares leave running. Start with reporting and surfacing, prove it, then grant more.

Questions

What people ask before they start

Something not covered here? Ask us directly and an engineer will answer.

Ask a question

Those are the things we build. This is the engagement that works out which of them you need, in what order, and whether any of it is worth doing at all. Clients who already know what they want usually go straight to the relevant build page instead.

Weeks rather than months, and it ends with a written roadmap rather than a further phase of discovery. If we cannot find a use case worth building we will tell you that, and you will still have the assessment.

No. The roadmap is yours, and some clients take it and build in house or with an existing partner. We would rather that than sell an implementation the plan did not justify.

That is the premise. The work is giving software safe, permissioned access to the CRM, the ERP, the ticketing system and the site you already run. Replacing a working system to make an AI project easier is almost always the wrong trade.
